The martial arts where once required to ensure survival on the battlefield. Now they are becoming equally important as a source of personal development.
Martial Arts is the conditioning of the mind & body for the purpose of self-defence. Only use your fighting skills when absolutely necessary & then only with the minimum amount of force required. You must not use your martial art skills in an aggressive manner unless it is a life-threatening situation and there is no other option.
Whilst training it is essential that you concentrate fully so that you appreciate & understand what your instructor is teaching you. Students are required to respect those who are studying the martial arts with them regardless of age, grade or gender.
Whilst training the idea is not to inflict injury but to master the techniques you have been taught, so self-control & self-discipline are very important. Anyone who wishes to bully or harass others verbally or physically will be prevented from training with us.
